Religious leader and Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) founder Apollo Quiboloy is set to be transferred on Wednesday, November 27, from the Philippine Heart Center to the Pasig City Jail Male Dormitory following his medical furlough.
In a press briefing on Wednesday, Philippine National Police (PNP) Spokesperson PBGen. Jean Fajardo confirmed that the transfer will take place at 4 p.m.
"Today po, November 27, by 4 pm, we expect na we will be transferring the custody of Apollo Quiboloy to the Pasig City Jail pursuant to the court order issued," said Fajardo.
"Hindi na po, deretso na po siya [sa Philippine Heart Center]. Natatandaan niyo po noong mahuli po natin siya noong September 8, he was temporarily detained dito sa Custodial Facility to give way doon sa order ng court na mag-undergo siya ng medical assessment," she added.
The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) has confirmed that they are ready and on standby at any time for Quiboloy's transfer to the Pasig City Jail Male Dormitory.
Furthermore, the BJMP stated that they are closely coordinating with the PNP for Quiboloy's transfer today.
As of this writing, Quiboloy has already been discharged from the Philippine Heart Center after his extended medical furlough and is set to be transferred to the Pasig City Jail.
