Following the road rage incident in Quezon City and Makati, another similar incident happened in Barangay Bignay, Valenzuela City, involving drivers of a Toyota Fortuner and a taxicab last August 19.
On Tuesday night, Atty. Raymond Fortune uploaded a video on Facebook in which a man was seen getting out of an SUV, threatening, and pushing an unseen person.
According to the Valenzuela City local government, the incident happened along Bignay Contouring Road, and there is no clear root cause for the issue.
With yet another road rage incident, Northern Police District (NDP) director Brig. Gen. Rizalito Gapas mentioned that the incident is now being investigated by the Valenzuela City Police but has yet to identify the driver.
As someone who posted the video, Fortun encouraged the Land Transportation Office (LTO) to probe the incident, providing the vehicle used by the involved driver.
He said that the victim has not reached out to him for assistance, and Fortuna said through a text message that he will not represent him as one of their "equally good and upstanding" lawyers who are willing to do what is best for the country.
It can be recalled that the video of the incident that occurred last month between the former policeman and a cyclist was uploaded by Fortuna, in which Wilfredo Gonzales assaulted and brandished his gun.
Another road rage incident happened in Makati City, caught in a video, wherein a motorcycle rider who pretended to be a former military personnel was pinned down by a non-uniformed police officer.
