Actress and TV host Anne Curtis is locked in and ready for battle, with her upcoming action film with acclaimed director Erik Matti.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, the actress shared a few set photos, teasing fans about the movie’s premise.
“Locked in 🔒🎬🎥. Prepped as if I was going off to battle. But wait, I actually am? 😝” she captioned her post.

Subsequently, Erik shared through Instagram stories on early Monday, that he wants to tell a “really good story,” and tries hard to tell it the way it should be.
“I just want to tell a story. A really good story. But not everything you imagined can ever be told so easily. But you just try as hard to tell it the way it should be. And it’s so satisfying no matter the challenges. Because you feel it should be told that way no matter what. Come hell or high water,” the text in his Instagram story read.
Although most details about the film are yet to be revealed, fans were given a small hint about what the film may be centred on. In an Instagram post on January 10, Erik mentioned that he would be gone for almost a month and a half.
“We’ll go off the grid to another world where we tell the story of the wild, wild, west Island of the undesirables,” he captioned.
“See you all when we get back,” he added, tagging Anne and actor Gerald Anderson.

News about Erik’s upcoming action film broke out in 2023. Shortly after, the actress shared photos from her training at the 201st Infantry Kabalikat Brigade.
However, this is not the first time Anne and Erik will be working together, as the former starred in the 2018 crime film “Buy Bust” directed by the latter.
