After a 15-year gap since their last collaboration, Anne Curtis and Jericho Rosales are set to share the screen once again in the romantic drama “The Loved One.”
Cornerstone Entertainment released the film’s teaser on Facebook on December 30, giving fans a first look at the film. The teaser hints at a nostalgic storyline, with both characters appearing to look back on moments from their shared past.
Set to the song “Multo” by Cup of Joe, the teaser features scenes that suggest the evolution of their relationship. Viewers are shown brief but emotional snapshots, including a lively night out at a bar, a car ride together, intimate dinner dates, and several heartfelt moments that highlight their chemistry.
Although the project was officially confirmed in late 2025, details about the film have largely been kept under wraps. However, Rosales previously hinted at the collaboration during a red carpet interview last November, when he casually mentioned that he would “do something with Anne.”
One of the teaser’s most striking moments includes Curtis’ voiceover, where she says, “Ten years, it’s a long time,” adding to the film’s reflective tone.
Directed by Irene Emma Villamor, The Loved One is scheduled to hit cinemas on February 11, 2026.
Curtis and Rosales first worked together in the 2008 Metro Manila Film Festival entry "Baler," followed by the drama series "Green Rose" three years later, making this upcoming film a meaningful reunion for longtime fans.
