After basketball star Ricci Rivero's interview with Boy Abunda made waves, TV host DJ JhaiHo wasted no time in reaching out to Andrea Brillantes for her side of the story.
The "Drag You and Me" star didn't hold back and directly addressed the statements made by her ex-boyfriend regarding the end of their relationship.
In a recent episode of Marites University, DJ JhaiHo shared his conversation with Andrea, where she revealed that Ricci conveniently left out some crucial details about the mysterious girl she found in his condominium during his FTWBA interview.
According to DJ JhaiHo, he immediately messaged Andrea after Ricci's interview went viral, asking for the truth.
"Ano ang totoo?" he inquired.
Andrea's response, as shared by the host, was: "'LOL. Nakalimutan niya atang sabihin na hubad kong nadatnan 'yung girl.'"
DJ JhaiHo continued, quoting Andrea: "'...hubad sa kwarto niya. Tulog siya [Ricci]. 'Di daw nila alam ang nangyayari at lasing sila. Di niya minention. Hindi niya minemention. Madami pa siyang hindi minention.'"
Ricci has yet to respond to these recent allegations leveled against him as of this writing.
During a guest appearance on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" in late June, the basketball star confirmed that he and Andrea had broken up in the first week of May.
Ricci and Andrea officially became a couple on April 9 last year, after the University of the Philippines (UP) Fighting Maroons' victory over the Far Eastern University Tamaraws.
Speculations about their breakup emerged in May, with some netizens speculating that former beauty queen turned politician Leren Bautista played a role, as they were seen celebrating Ricci's birthday together while distributing food packs to constituents.
However, Ricci clarified in the same interview that Councilor Leren had no involvement, emphasizing that he has been doing outreach programs every year as a college freshman.
