The northeast monsoon or amihan and the easterlies will bring cloudy skies and rains over several parts of the country on Wednesday, March 20, according to PAGASA.
Based on PAGASA's weather bulletin, the northeast monsoon is affecting Northern and Central Luzon while the easterlies is affecting the rest of the country.
Eastern Visayas, Sorsogon, and Masbate will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
Cagayan Valley, Apayao, and Kalinga will experience cloudy skies with rains caused by the northeast monsoon.
Also, the northeast monsoon will be affecting Aurora and Northern Quezon with Cloudy skies with light rains.
Metro Manila, Ilocos Region and the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, and CALABARZON, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also caused by the northeast monsoon .
Meanwhile, the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies / localized thunderstorms.
For wind and coastal water conditions, Northern Luzon will have strong wind speed moving to the northeast direction while coastal water will be rough.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving to the northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
