The Philippine National Police (PNP) is able to record 27, 940 quarantine violators since October 16, Saturday until October 18, Monday.
Based on the said data, 20,400 violated health protocols; 7, 300 were caught during curfew hours, and 169 were not "authorized persons outside of residence".
57% of them received a warning, 35% were fined, and 8% were given different sanctions.
Alert level 3 in Metro Manila will run until Oct. 31. In line with the new quarantine protocol, limited indoor services for fully vaccinated individuals are now allowed at 30% capacity, and 50 % for outdoor services. Curfew was set from 12 midnight to 4 am.
Meanwhile, there are now fewer areas that have been placed under granular lockdown in Metro Manila. from 83, the number is now at 71. This includes 46 barangays (34 households, two residential buildings, and 11 subdivisions or villages).
