<p>Another milestone has been achieved by actor-politician Alfred Vargas as he starts his doctoral degree at the University of the Philippines.</p>
<p>Vargas shared his hybrid learning system experience, explaining the reason for his decision to pursue a doctoral degree.</p>
<p>Little did people know, the actor had already obtained his master's degree in public administration from the University of the Philippines' National College of Public Administration and Governance.</p>
<p>In his Instagram post, he shared his experience attending a hybrid class for the first time, where he can learn from both online and face-to-face sessions.</p>
<p>"As a policymaker, I've met the best and brightest minds in the country, and it's always an honor to hear their insights firsthand. There's always so much to learn. There is so much to understand. and so much to do for our country," he wrote in his caption.</p>

<p>For three terms, Vargas served Quezon City's fifth district as a congressman, and now he is serving as one of the councilors of the same district.</p>
<p>Apart from being an actor, a public servant, and a student, Vargas is also a proud husband to Yasmine Espiritu and a dad to their three children.</p>
