A basic trainer aircraft crashed in Lipa, Batangas province on Monday morning, April 24.
According to Philippine Air Force (PAF) spokesperson Consuela Castillo, the SF-260FH Marchetti trainer aircraft crashed in an open area near Fernando Airbase after it encoutered problems at the upwind.
No civilian were reportedly hurt and there were no damage in nearby communities.

"The aircraft is currently being recovered and assessed. Consequently, extensive investigation of the incident has been started to determine its cause," Castillo said.
She said the two pilots were rescued and have undergone medical treatment.
