Athlete and content creator Aira Lopez addressed malicious comments and rumors involving her boyfriend and Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste, after netizens questioned his gesture of giving gifts to his former partner, Queen of All Media Kris Aquino.

Speculation circulated online after Mark reportedly sent chocolates and flowers to Kris prior to her surgery, prompting rumors that the former couple had reconciled. Some netizens criticized the gesture, calling it disrespectful to Aira as Mark’s current partner, and accusing him of being overly romantic toward his ex.

Aira, however, clarified the issue through a Facebook post, saying, “Wag po nating gawing issue ang lahat. Whether he gave the chocolates or not, wala pong problema sa akin.”

She further added, “I even encourage Mark to visit Ms. Kris in the hospital,” emphasizing that she had no objections to the visit.

Despite the controversy, Aira remained calm and expressed well-wishes for Kris, saying she continues to pray for her recovery.

Mark and Kris were in a relationship in 2023 but parted ways within the same year. Kris previously shared that their long-distance setup, while she was recovering and managing hr 11 autoimmune diseases, led to their separation.

Meanwhile, Aira and Mark officially began their relationship in January 2025.
