Ahyeon, the member supposedly set to debut in YG Entertainment’s new girl K-pop group Baby Monster bid her goodbye over health reasons, according to a South Korean outlet.

In a Soompi report, Ahyeon's withdrawal was announced on Wednesday, Nov. 15, where it was confirmed that Baby Monster will debut as a six-member group from what once was a seven-member group consisting of Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Haram, Rora, and Chiquita.

“[I]t was decided that Ahyeon, who prepared together [with BABYMONSTER], will be focusing on getting rest for the time being due to health reasons,” YG’s statement read, as translated by Soompi.

“Although we are saddened to be unable to introduce Ahyeon as a member of BABYMONSTER, we made this decision for the sake of the artist’s health. We will spare no support so that Ahyeon can recover fully and return in good health,” it further read.

Baby Monster is set to debut this November 27.
