Korean actress Hong Ji-hee announced her marriage plans with a non-celebrity boyfriend on Sunday, March 17.
The actress posted on Instagram a series of photos, sharing that she wanted to tell the “important people” in her life about the upcoming marriage.
“I’m getting married. It’s a personal affair, so I’m shy and cautious, but I took courage to write because I really wanted to tell the many important people around me as well as those who showed interest and supported me for a long time,” Hong wrote (translated via Soompi).
She also hoped that fans would understand the sudden announcement.
“Although it’s sudden news, I hope you all understand with generous hearts… Would it be alright to ask for support and congratulations?” Hong said.
