The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has temporarily suspended the accreditation of the international ride-hailing application inDrive after the reported "make an offer" scheme.
According to RH5 Val Gonzales' report on Wednesday, January 23, the temporary suspension was confirmed by Lawyers for Commuters Safety and Protection (LCSP) National President Antonio Enrile Inton Jr. after attending a hearing at the LTFRB.
The said hearing centers on the complaint raised by passengers to LCSP that inDRIVE drivers allegedly overcharges and negotiates fare which are clear violations of the fare matrix mandated by the LTFRB.
inDRIVE drivers were also reportedly refusing to convey passengers once negotiations failed.
