A new game variety show titled "It's Your Lucky Day" will temporarily replace the suspended noontime show "It's Showtime!", ABS-CBN confirmed on Wednesday, Oct. 11.
In an official statement, ABS-CBN said the game show will be hosted by "Ang Pambansang Host" Luis Manzano, seasoned TV host Robi Domingo, and prominent actresses and hosts Jennica Garcia and Melai Cantiveros.
"Joining them are special co-hosts and other celebrity guests," it added.
Based on the poster released by the network, Andrea Briliantes, Kyle Echarri, Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin, Negi, Long Mejia, Petite, Divine Tetay are the lucky stars who will co-hosts "It's Your Lucky Day".
The show will air at 12 noon this Saturday, Oct. 14 until Friday, Oct. 27 on plaforms such as Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, GTV, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, and TFC.
According to ABS-CBN, the team behind "It's Showtime" will also be behind "It's Your Lucky Day".
"We invite viewers to welcome luck into their homes and experience fun and enjoyment with the family in "It's Your Lucky Day," the network furthered.
In September, the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) ordered the suspension of "It's Showtime" for 12 airing days following multiple complaints from viewers.
ABS-CBN filed a Motion for Reconsideration shortly after the decision, but the MTRCB denied it.
The network said it decided not to appeal the 12-day suspension, but it "humbly" maintained that "It's Showtime" "did not break any pertinent law."
