A24 dropped the official trailer of Sofia Coppola's biopic film Priscilla on Tuesday, Oct. 3.
The film starring Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi was based on Priscilla Presley's memoir Elvis and Me which follows the story from their first meeting to the very end of their divorce.
In her interview with W Magazine, Coppola said she read Priscilla's book years ago and thought of how she could make it into a movie.
"When you’re reading it, you feel like you’re part of her experiences. For instance, she describes going into Elvis’s bedroom for the first time, how big the bed was, and how she thought about all the women who had been there before. I remember thinking, It’s intimidating enough to be in a normal guy’s room for the first time, and then imagine that guy is Elvis!" she told the magazine.
Priscilla will be out in theaters on November 3.
