The most awaited Hunter x Hunter manga is returning to Shonen Jump with volume 45 this coming October 7, 2024.

During the Jump PRESS stream on Monday, they announced that the highly anticipated installment of Hunter x Hunter will finally be released this year.

In 2022, Yoshihiro Togashi said that the manga would be updated irregularly due to his health problems. However, fans were not fazed by the announcement as the manga has dealt with recurring hiatuses over the years; with the longest one at four years. Despite that, fans still continue to anticipate its return.

The beloved manga tells the story of Gon Freecs who dreams of becoming a hunter while trying to reconnect with his estranged father. The manga has been ongoing since the 19990s and was adapted into an anime in 2011.
