The Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO)-7 released the names of the victims of the gun attack in Barangay San Isidro, Pamplona, Negros Oriental, on Saturday morning, March 4.
Nine persons were killed and 17 others were injured after unidentified armed men stormed the house of Governor Roel Degamo, who was among the fatalities in the incident.

Three suspects have been arrested by the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Philippine Army during a pursuit operation in Bayawan City, Negros Oriental.
Over 10 armed people were still at large. The police are conducting a follow-up hot pursuit operation of other apprehensions of the fleeing suspects.
