72 people victimized by food poisoning in Esperanza, Agusan del Sur

Seventy-two people who fell ill due to alleged food poisoning were rushed to hospitals in Esperanza, Agusan del Sur on Monday, February 19.
According to Provincial Health Officer Jackie Momville, 72 people are currently being treated at the Esperanza Medicare Community Hospital.
Momville said the number of victims may increase once they include those who were reportedly rushed to other hospitals.
Victims reportedly experienced stomach pain, diarrhea, and vomiting.

The food packs distributed in the area were suspected to be the cause of food poisoning.
