Rosula Calcula, a 62-year-old mother of three, passed the 2023 Bar exams on her first take.

Hailing from Isabela, she is one of the 3,812 or 36.77 percent of the 10,387 examinees who passed the exam as unveiled by the Supreme Court on Tuesday, December 5.

Calcula, who traveled from he hometown just to personally see the results, finished her law studies at Northeastern College.

With her recent feat, she hopes to inspire senior citizens like her that it is not loot late to accomplish their goals in life.
