More than 70,000 local and overseas jobs will be offered to Filipino job hunters during the Department of Labor and Employment's (DOLE) nationwide job fair slated for Labor Day, May 1.

In a news release on Wednesday, DOLE said there is a total of 73,779 job vacancies.

Of these, the roles available are customer service representatives, production workers/operators, financial consultants, service crew, and sales agents or sales clerks.

About 808 employers from the industries of manufacturing, financial and insurance activities, manpower services, sales and marketing, and many more will be participating in the 42 job fair sites nationwide, DOLE said.

The main event site will be held this Sunday, April 30 at SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City.
