Six overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) repatriated from Lebanon have arrived at the country on Friday morning, according to the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).

The six Filipinos arrived via flight EK336 that departed from Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal past 3AM.

They were part of the first batch of repatriates from Lebanon amid the tension there between Israel and Hezbollah militants.

DMW earlier said that 124 OFWs asked to be repatriated to the country following the tensions between Israel and the Hezbollah militant group in Lebanon.
