Six people, including a pregnant woman, died after a fire struck a residential area on Camba Ext., Tondo, Manila, on Sunday, September 29.
According to a report by Val Gonzales, six out of the 13 residents of a four-story building perished in the fire. Among the victims were two infant boys who were trapped inside their home as the blaze spread.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported that the building had no fire exits, which left the residents trapped and unable to escape.
A local resident named "Richard" said the fire started from the light in their house.

"Sa 2nd floor po nagsimula, biglang bumagsak ang apoy sa may ilaw. Pagbagsak, biglang lumiyab na lang ang kumot, kurtina," said Richard.
