At least six people were found dead, 31 injured, and 46 are still missing after the deadly landslide hit Zone 1, Barangay Masara, Maco Davao de Oro, on Tuesday evening, Feb. 6.

According to the latest report of Maco Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management (MDRRM), as of 2:30 pm, six remains were found in the area where the landslide occurred.
A total of 285 families have been reportedly impacted by the mountain that almost covered the affected residential area.
Meanwhile, 758 families were sent to the evacuation centers.
Search and rescue operations are still being conducted to look for the other 46 missing individuals.

Davao Region recently experienced continuous rains brought by the shearline and the trough low pressure area, which caused the landslide to occur.
