Five people were hurt after a fire hit a residential area in Brgy. Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City, on Thursday, March 21.

According to RH Edniel Parrosa's report, the second alarm occurred at 4 AM and flamed up at 9 AM.
Around 20–30 houses made of light materials were engulfed by the fire.
At 9:39 AM, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) announced that the blaze was lready under control.
According to the barangay captain, Carlito Sernal, the cause of the fire may be damaged electrical wires, which the BFP is still verifying.
Based on the report, around 50 families have been affected by the fire.
The barangay is reaching out to Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. to provide the victims with food and temporary shelter.
