Known for their powerful performance on The X Factor back in 2015, Filipino girl group 4th Impact became emotional as they talked about their singing career in the Philippines, saying that one factor that stopped them was the country’s lack of support for their talent.

In an interview with Asia's King of Talk, Boy Abunda, the quartet said that they have been trying their best, and the group had a massive breakdown last year, saying that they are currently living in the US.

They added that they almost want to give up and don’t want to lie, saying that the reason for staying in the US is to seek more opportunities for their group since they have been trying to push through with their career in the Philippines, but everything is a cycle, and it looked like they have been begging for support.

Looking back at their X Factor days in 2015, the group wondered if they should need to be recognized internationally before gaining much support from the country, and it has been hurting them.

The group, consisting of sisters Almira, Irene, Mylene, and Celina Cercado, signed under ShowBT Philippines, in which they also said that the treatment between them and the agency’s former artist SB19 as the company invested in them, opening up that they were not given enough spotlight for their careers.
