A magnitude 4.6 earthquake hit east of Tagbina, Surigao Del Sur, on Sunday, July 14.

According to PHIVOLCS, the tectonic earthquake hit at 6:01 p.m.

It has a depth of 10 kilometers.

The state seismologist observed intensities in the following areas:

• Intensity III - Tagbina, Surigao del Sur
• Intensity II - Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.

No damage is expected, but aftershocks will likely occur, says PHIVOLCS.
