A total of 36 Philippine companies have earned a spot in the 2026 Time's Best Companies in Asia-Pacific ranking, highlighting the country’s growing corporate presence in the region, as reported by RH Don Carlos.

Leading the pack from the Philippines is the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), which secured the 35th place, followed by BDO Unibank at 47th, Security Bank at 88th, SM Investments at 101st, and Converge ICT at 115th. Meanwhile, RCBC, Union Bank, and Ginebra San Miguel ranked between 137th and 158th place.

Other notable entries included companies from sectors such as fast food, water and electricity, telecommunications, and banking.

According to The Times, the rankings were determined based on employee satisfaction, revenue growth, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives.

The regional top spots went to DBS Bank of Singapore at number one, Commonwealth Bank of Australia at second, and Toyota of Japan in third place.

In currency news, the Philippine peso closed at ₱58.02 per U.S. dollar on Friday.
