The Philippine National Police (PNP) reported the arrest of 32 individuals in a weeklong series of cybercrime operations conducted from March 6 to 12, 2026, as authorities intensified efforts to protect the public from online threats.

According to the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG), 22 suspects were caught in entrapment operations, while 10 wanted persons were apprehended during the period.

A total of 58 cybercrime cases were referred for filing, including 39 regular cases and 19 through inquest proceedings.

To strengthen ongoing investigations, cyber operatives executed 33 warrants to disclose computer data to obtain critical digital evidence. Patrol teams conducted 545 online monitoring activities and completed 18 digital forensic examinations.

The operations also resulted in the rescue of three victims of abuse and one trafficking-in-persons victim.

PNP Chief Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. lauded the cybercrime operatives for their vigilance.

“Patuloy nating pinaigting ang ating pagbabantay sa online platforms upang maprotektahan ang publiko laban sa panloloko at iba pang cybercrime,” he said.

“Sa ating mga kababayan, maging mapanuri sa inyong online activities at agad i-report sa pulisya ang anumang kahina-hinalang transaksyon,” he added.
