Three overseas Filipino workers (OFW) in Israel cannot be located and contacted by the Philippine government.

Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) officer-in-charge Hans Leo Cacdac made an update on the ongoing clash between the Israeli forces and the Hamas militant group.

In a report by RH 52 Edniel Parrosa, Cacdac said that there are 22 OFWs who are seeking emergency repatriation.

Including the Filipinos who are seeking help to go back to the country are 19 caregivers and three hotel service workers who are close to the Gaza Strip, where the clashes happened.

Cacdac ensured that the government should first plan the possible repatriation of OFWs who are crying out to go home.

Meanwhile, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has already been preparing an evacuation plan for the Filipinos in case they need to be evacuated.

According to AFP spokesperson Col. Medel Aguilar, their plan will be executed if there is already a go signal from senior officials.
