According to Christian Maño's live report during DZRH Damdaming Bayan, it took almost an hour for the Manila Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office (DRRMO) to remove the driver from being stuck in his distorted car.
The truck driver, who chose to hide his identity, said their truck contained sand from Pampanga and Cavite.
He recalled that the vehicle lost brake when they were traversing Quirino Avenue.
The Manila DRRMO said five individuals received medical assistance after the accident.
