Two personnel of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) have been arrested for using police markings.
In a report by RH Edniel Parrosa on Thursday, the two personnel were caught using registered vehicles of the Philippine National Police (PNP) to escort a high-ranking government official.

The arrest was reportedly led by the PNP's Highway Patrol Group which conducted an operation to catch security officials abusing positions such as using illegal blinkers and sirene.
The two MMDA personnel are identified as Teofilo Padilla,64, and Jonathan Pacle, 42 who were caught at Diokno Blvd. in Pasay City.
They are facing charges for violating the reservation of authority and illegal use of uniforms.
Meanwhile, MMDA acting chairman Atty. Don Artes assured that they will investigate the matter.
“We are coordinating with PNP-HPG and waiting for the official report. We will investigate the matter and act accordingly," said Artes.
