Two minors were killed after a fire razed a residential area in Brgy. Poblacion, Mandaluyong City, on Wednesday evening, March 13.
According to RH Edniel Parrosa's report, the fatalities are a 15-year-old girl and her 6-year-old brother, who were trapped inside their burning house.

A report said the mother, who was outside when their house engulfed by fire, was not able to return and save her children.
The fire started at 11 p.m. and was declared under control at 1 p.m.
An elderly man also sustained injuries due to the fire.
Fifty-seven families lost their homes, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection.

The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.
