

Two construction workers died after they were buried when a part of scaffolding collapsed at a construction site in Santa Rosa, Laguna on Sunday, April 13.
According to the initial report, the incident happened around 10:30 AM, where the scaffolding gave way while the workers aged 29 and 42 were pouring concrete on the second floor which caused them to fall.
The body of the first victim, 29, was found beneath the rubble at approximately 3:00 P.M.
While the second victim was recovered at about 4:15 P.M.
Both victims were immediately rushed to Santa Rosa Community Hospital by the Santa Rosa City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Emergency Unit (CDRRMEU), but they were declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.
The remains of the deceased were transferred to a funeral home and are set to be transported to their respective hometowns for burial.
Meanwhile, authorities are currently investigating the said incident.
