The implementation of two-day nationwide liquor ban for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) 202 has started today, Oct. 29, with sales consumption prohibited until tomorrow, October 30.

Several establishments were given warnings since liquor was seen on the tables during the monitoring of the Fort Bonifacio Substation 1 Police units in Taguig City earlier today, Sunday, October 2.

Police started at 36th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City (BGC), which has multiple establishments.

Moreover, the police also implemented maximum tolerance for drunk patrons, and their companions said that they started off drinking prior to the liquor ban.

Establishments in BGC, including grocery and convenience stores, were earlier warned about the implementation of the liquor ban.
