Seven passengers were reportedly missing after a motorbanca submerged off waters in Palawan on Wednesday evening, January 24.
According to The Palawan Times's report posted on its official Facebook page on Friday, January 26, the motorbanca came from Calandagan and it was en route to Araceli when the maritime incident occurred.
The Naval Forces West reportedly join forces with the Araceli Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and Municipal Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office for the search and rescue operations.
The seven passengers remained unidentified as of this posting.
Meanwhile, another motorbanca reportedly sank off while it was traveling to Calandagan from Liminangcong in Palawan.
The four passengers were safely rescued, according to The Palawan Times.
