Swifties, bet you see this coming! Taylor's Version of the 2014 hit album "1989" will be dropping this October 27.
International pop singer Taylor Swift made the announcement on the last date of the first leg of her Eras tour at SoFi Stadium near Los Angeles.
She later shared the news on her social media accounts.
"Surprise!! 1989 (Taylor’s Version) is on its way to you (soon)! The 1989 album changed my life in countless ways, and it fills me with such excitement to announce that my version of it will be out October 27th," Swift wrote on Twitter.
According to Taylor, “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” is her favorite re-record "because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane."
"To be perfectly honest, this is my most FAVORITE re-record I’ve ever done because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane. I can’t believe they were ever left behind. But not for long!"
Pre-orders for the multi-hyphenate star's new album are now available here.

Taylor has been re-recording her album on a mission to fully own her first six albums after it was sold in 2019 to Scooter Braun, who later sold them to a private equity firm. She started off last year with her version of "Fearless" and "Red," both in 2021 and "Speak Now" just last month.
She has yet to release new versions of "reputation" and her self-titled album "Taylor Swift."
