The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) has deported 180 Chinese nationals, who were arrested in a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO) in Pasay City last September.
The POGO hub was allegedly a prostitution den and torture chamber where several Filipino women and foreigners were rescued.
Interviewed during DZRH Dos Por Dos on Thursday afternoon, Dec. 13, PAOCC Usec. Gilberto Cruz confirmed that the arrested Chinese nationals would be deported on Thursday afternoon due to the absence of immigration documents.
"Dito tayo nakakita ng torture chamber, may aquarium, sex workers na Filipinas at foreigners. 180 na Chinese nationals ang subject for deportation today dahil na-violate nila ang conditions of stay dito," Cruz said.
"Hindi nila nai-present ang tamang working visa nila at involved sila sa online scam na ginagawa sa atin, kaya they are considered as undesirable agents," he added.
