In a post by the Chinese Embassy in Manila, 15 of the rescued individuals were reported to be in good condition, while two were confirmed dead.

Seventeen Filipino crew members have been rescued, while four remain missing following the capsizing of the Singaporean cargo ship M/V Devon Bay on January 23 in Bajo de Masinloc.
According to the Philippine Navy, search and rescue operations for the remaining missing crew members are ongoing.
"The Philippine Navy remains committed to the continuous conduct of search and rescue operations in both incidents and is closely coordinating with concerned agencies," the Navy said.
The MV Devon Bay, which was carrying iron ore, departed from Gutalac, Zamboanga del Norte, bound for Guangdong, China, when it began listing. It reportedly capsized approximately 141 nautical miles west of Pangasinan.
Earlier reports from Chinese authorities stated that the People’s Liberation Army Southern Theater Command launched a joint rescue operation near Scarborough Shoal in the West Philippine Sea on Friday.
The operation included continuous aerial searches by military aircraft, while two China Coast Guard vessels were immediately dispatched to assist in the rescue efforts.
