Fourteen individuals were confirmed dead and three others were hurt after a truck fell off a cliff in Brgy. Bulwang, Mabinay, Negros Oriental on Wednesday afternoon, February 21.
According to RH Rex Cantong's report on DZRH Breaktime, Mabinay Chief of Police PMaj. Nelson Lamoco said the truck was en route to Mabinay when it lost control due to brake trouble at around 1:30 PM.

Police authorities identified some of passengers onboard the truck as:
- Junjun Mejos
- Fely Decipulo
- Lindon Decipulo, Jr.
- Rodnick Decipulo
- Dodoy Mejos
- Allan Flores
- Nelwin Vilando
- Leo
- Jimboy
- Marlon
The names of the remaining passengers are still being identified.
The three injured victims were reportedly sent to Mabinay Community Hospital for immediate medical treatment.
