A total of 11 suspects were arrested by the Police Regional Office in Bicol on Tuesday during the anti-drug operations from January 21 to 23 where they were able to confiscate 1,145.87 grams of suspected drugs.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Maria Luisa Calubaquib, PRO5 spokesperson, they have seized P 7,791,116 worth of shabu during the anti-drug operations conducted in different provinces in the region.
The suspect, identified as Leo Asistio Jr., 37, who lived in Silang, Cavite was arrested by the authorities in Camarines Norte.
Calubaquib said that Asistio yielded 50 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P340,000 and loaded caliber .38 revolver without make and serial number loaded.
Moreover, the police nabbed Omar Maralit, 30, from Camarines Norte and a rice mill operator who yielded around 1.03 grams of the drugs with an estimated value of P7,004.
While in Camarines Sur, the police seized more or less 1,000 grams of shabu with a strret value of P6.8 million from Ryian Magdalita, 35, of Sampaloc, Manila.
Magdalita was cornered by the operatives at Zone 1, San Agustin, Pili, Camarines Sur.
In the same province in Camarines Sur, two more drug dealers named Aldin Fortuna, 36 ; and Luis Tampoco Jr., 50, were caught with 20 grams of shabu with a street value of P136,000.
Meanwhile, Marvin Badilla, alias "Og-Og", 24; and Augusto Badilla, 40, both of Zone 7, Sagrada Familia, Barangay Peñafrancia, along with street-level individual, Angelo Cipres, 52, of Zone 3, Barangay Igualdad were nabbed by the authorities in Naga City.
Cipres was caught with 0.84 grams of the ecstacy valuing P5,712.
In Masbate, a "habal-habal" (motorcycle) driver,Michael Camposano, 43, was cuaght during a buy-bust operation in Sitio Cambarong, Barangay Poblacion, Monreal.
The authorities seized a total of P108,000 street value of drugs or 16 grams.
In Albay Province, Rolly Luna Manila, 38, and Melchor Prince Balsarza Millare, 35, both of Barangay Maroroy, Daraga were nabbed after selling some 56.5 grams of shabu to an undercover cop in exchange for PHP384,200.
Calubaquib mentioned that all the suspects will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
