Authorities confirmed on Monday that one person has died as a result of the impacts of Tropical Storm (TS) Dodong, which brought heavy rainfall to various parts of the country.

According to the report from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), the deceased individual was from Antipolo, Rizal.

The woman tragically lost her life after her residence was buried under soil due to the torrential rains.

No other injuries or missing persons have been reported thus far in the aftermath of TD Dodong.
