One passenger reportedly died after getting hit by a collapsed concrete wall in a bus terminal's waiting area in Brgy. Ibayo, Balanga, Bataan on Monday, Nov. 20.
According to RH Danny Cumilang’s report during DZRH Magandang Umaga Pilipinas, Balanga Philippine National Police (PNP) confirmed that one died and one sustained severe injuries due to the accident.
The Balanga PNP said that the concrete wall fell after a bus, with a route Balanga to Mariveles and vice versa, crashed into the bus terminal’s concrete wall and glass windows at past 6 PM.
The driver reportedly stomped on the bus' accelerator by accident which caused the bus to lost control and speed-up.

The perished victim was identified as Jen Orviel Titulo, 20, a student of Bataan Peninsula State University and a resident of Brgy. Cabcaben, Mariveles, Bataan.
While the injured victim was named Christopher Polbete, 39, Brgy. Gugo, Samal, Bataan. He was immediately rushed to a hospital for immediate medication.
The bus driver is now under Balanga Police's custody, and the accident is presently under investigation.
