The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported on Wednesday morning that one person died due to Typhoon Egay.

According to its latest situational report, the recorded fatality occurred in Calabarzon.

Additionally, two individuals sustained injuries – one in Calabarzon and the other in Western Visayas.

As of now, no one has been reported missing.

The combined impact of the Southwest monsoon and Typhoon Egay affected a total of 180,439 individuals or 44,356 families in Ilocos, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol Region, Western Visayas, Northern Mindanao, and Soccsksargen.
