Two individuals died while six others were injured after a tree and a wall crashed into residential houses in Estero de Magdalena in Recto, Manila on Thursday morning.&nbsp;
Initial reports said the residents heard a loud banging sound at around 12 AM and thought it came from the adjacent building. They had o idea it was the Balete tree that fell to the houses near it.&nbsp;
The victims were immediately rushed to Jose Reyes Medical Center.
The injured individuals were identified as Caitlyn Caparangan, 13; her father Reynaldo Caparangan, 39; and Edsel Lansiola, 42.&nbsp;
A total of eight families were affected and are currently taking shelter in a modular tent beside Recto Avenue.&nbsp;
