Vice President Sara Duterte on Monday affirmed her work and personal relationship with President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr., saying that they are on "good terms" despite the recent word war between their families.

"We have no problem with each other. President Bongbong Marcos and I are doing good. We are okay in terms of our relationship. Both personal and working relationship," Duterte told reporters in a media interview in Malaysia.

In January, President Marcos maintained that his relationship with Duterte remains unchanged and that she will be staying as part of his Cabinet.

During his speech at a prayer rally against Charter change in Davao on January 28, former president Rodrigo Roa Duterte accused Marcos as a "drug addict" who is included in the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency's drug watch list.

The former president also warned Marcos that he may be ousted from his position similar to his father's fate if he would not stop the Charter change talks.

Davao City Mayor Baste Duterte also hit Marcos, calling him to resign for being "lazy" and "uncompassionate" to Filipinos.

Meanwhile, the Vice President and Education Secretary refused to comment when asked about her relationship with First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos.

"I have no comment as of this time," she responded.

In a recent viral video online, the First Lady and the Vice President both attended the departure ceremony of the President for his Vietnam visit but did not interact with each other.
