The family of John Matthew Salilig urges the Tau Gamma Phi fraternity to cooperate with the investigation of his death.

"Tulungan niyo kaming ma-reach yung justice na hinahanap namin para sa aming kapatid," said John Michael Salilig, brother of John Matthew, on Thursday, March 2.

John Matthew, a chemical engineering student of Adamson University, went missing after attending the initiation rites of the Tau Gamma Phi fraternity last February 18 in Laguna.

On Tuesday, February 28, authorities found his body in Imus, Cavite.

John Michael, who also joined the Tau Gamma Phi fraternity, said that he knew that his brother will attend the 'welcoming rites' of the Tau Gamma Phi fraternity.

He said that he allowed John Matthew to attend the activities of the Tau Gamma Phi fraternity since the organization practiced a 'no contact' policy

"Hindi ko siya pinigilan that time because knowingly it is just an activity na walang, no contact policy dapat," John Michael explained.
