Thai television company GMMTV on Tuesday announced the star-studded cast of the Thai adaptation of the popular Chinese novel "Scarlet Heart."
Based on the Chinese novel written by Tong Hua, "Scarlet Heart Thailand" stars Tu Tontawan, Win Metawin, Nanon Korapat, Tay Tawan, Perth Tanapon, Phuwin Tangsakyuen, Fourth Nattawat, and Force Jiratchapong.
A less-than-a-minute video trailer is also included in the company's post on social media.
The popular novel has been adapted for screen, radio, and theater multiple times, including the 2016 South Korean drama "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo," starring IU, Lee Joon Gi, and Kang Ha Neul.
The story follows a 21st-century woman (IU), who was transported back in time to the Goryeo Dynasty of Korea, in the body of a 16-year-old girl, when a total eclipse of the sun took place.
