It’s the end of the year; ergo, the leading online adult platform Pornhub released this year's trends, terms, searches, and recap.

In Pornhub Insights’ 2022 Year Review, ‘Pinay’ is the most searched word by Filipino users.

Terms including ‘pinay g*ngb*ng’ grew by +7 and ‘new pinay’ by +14.

According to the website, “Japanese was the most viewed category in the Philippines ahead of lesbian and Asian. Trending searches for the year included a 435% increase for “pinay tattoo” and a 234% increase for “hot romantic sex”. When compared to the rest of the world visitors from the Philippines are 192% more likely to view the Romantic category and 180% more likely to view Behind The Scenes videos.”

The Philippines is 9th in the Top 20 Countries by Traffic. The United States is number 1 followed by the United Kingdom and France.

From topping countries with most time spent per visit last year, Philippines is now on number 3 with 10 minutes and 59 seconds, decreased to -32 seconds from the 2021 insight.

The Philippines also has the most female viewers among countries worldwide with 53% of female visitors and 47% of male visitors.

“2022 saw the proportion of female viewers grow to 36%, an increase of +1 percentage point and +4% growth compared to 2021. In the Philippines, Colombia, Mexico and Argentina, nearly half of Pornhub’s visitors are women.” Pornhub said.
