'My Hero Academia' gets live-action film on Netflix

Good news for anime fans as the Japanese superhero manga series My Hero Academia will finally have a live-action movie on Netflix under Legendary Entertainment.

According to the report, the screenwriter of the famous series Obi-Wan Kenobi and the film Army of the Dead Joby Harold will write the screenplay for the adaptation.

He will work with Japanese filmmaker Shinsuke Sato, known for directing the famous Japanese series Alice in Borderland.

With the confirmation, casting has not yet been announced.

My Hero Academia was released in 2016 and is currently in its 6th season. The series is about a middle school student named Izuku Midoriya who does not have the powers and dreams to be a superhero.
