Food content creator Abi Marquez made history as the first-ever Filipino to bag an award in the recently concluded 28th Annual Webby Awards held on Tuesday at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, United States.
"WE DID IT FAM. First Filipino from the Philippines to win the The Webby Award, because of you!" she wrote in her post.
"This is a celebration of Filipino food, talent, and the hardwork of so many people. Grateful beyond words for the chance to fly to New York, represent our country, and cherish this moment as a core memory. THIS IS OUR WIN."
Marquez was named the People’s Voice Winner in the General Social: Food & Drink Category of the awards organization.
